Our Regency 6 Panel Prefinished fire door range offer charismatic style becoming of the Regency period. These fine 6 panel fire doors are manufactured to the very latest standards, with the stile and rail design, and raised and fielded panels, and are fully factory finished so they are ready to hang when they arrive. Simple, traditional, but nevertheless very stylish. Our Oak Fire doors are all designed and tested to meet the latest in UK Building Regulations in that they prevent the spread of fir between rooms for 30 minutes with their FD30 rating.
Fire Doors (FD30 fire rated doors) are doors which are suitable for use in homes or light commercial use. All Express Doors fire doors are 44mm thick and can prevent the passage of fire and smoke for a minimum of 30 minutes.
Local authorities recommend that fire doors be positioned between garages and kitchens and/or between kitchens and other rooms. They are also a necessity where risks of fire may be higher and to protect stairwells and hallways in commercial properties such as B&B's.
