How wide are 3 panel bifold doors?

3 door bifolds come in an impressive range of sizes, including 1790mm (6ft), 2090mm (7ft), 2390mm (8ft), 2690mm (9ft) through to an impressive 2990mm (10ft). 3 Panel Bifolding Door Configurations

As with all external bifold doors, you have the option to choose a left or right opening to fold your doors back. Remember, when ordering, you are always viewing your property from the outside.

A 3 panel bifold door set folds and stacks as a single group to either the left or right side of the opening. It isn't split into separate left/right sub-groups like larger 4+ panel sets.

• Configurations are listed as "3 Right" or "3 Left," describing which side the stacked panels sit on once fully open.
• You choose the opening direction when ordering, always viewed from outside the property.
• One of the three leaves typically also opens independently as a single door for everyday access, without folding back the full set.

What's the Difference Between Bifold and Sliding Patio Doors?

A 3 panel bifold door folds each leaf back and stacks it to one side, opening the entire width of the frame, while a sliding patio door only opens as far as one panel can slide behind another.
