Communal fire doorsets are complete sets of doors and hardware that are designed for use in multi-occupancy buildings to prevent the spread of fire and smoke. These fire rated doorsets can be manufacturerd to include a fire-resistant door, hinges, seals, and any other hardware that is needed for the door to function properly. Communal fire doorsets are an important part of any building's fire safety plan, and are typically required by law in many areas. Our communal fire door sets can be supplied marked with signs or labels to indicate their purpose, aw well as with self-closing mechanisms and panic bars to allow for easy exit in case of an emergency.

Express Doors Direct are proud to offer both fully finished veneer, base-coat primed and unfinished communal office fire doorsets hung in primed FD30 softwood door frames, in varing frame depths. Our extra-sturdy FD60 door frames are supplied in unfinished hardwood franes ready for final decoration on site. Pre-milled and fitted with intumescent strips, as well as optional smoke seals our communal entrance doors are designed for blocks of flats, modern office spaces and sheltered industrial environments. Optional extras for these doorsets include a varying range of primed architraves, as well as optional hardware such as door closers, push plates, "keep shut plates" and kick plates.
